They are very lightweight so are easy to turn them while mixing or blending and so much easier to clean, either by hand or tossing into the dishwasher

I decided to trade in my heavy pottery mixing bowls for something lighter that was easier to handle. I love this set - it is perfect for mixing sets of ingredients for baking or finding just the right size bowl for a baking project
