I already have a bread keeper like this and have been very happy with how well it works, so I ordered this one for my other house. My bread stays fresh noticeably longer than when I simply leave it in its original bag, and I like having everything contained neatly in one place.One of my favorite features is the date dial built into the lid. I set the month and day when I put bread inside, so I never have to wonder how long it has been in there. That is such a simple feature, but I use it every time.The lid seals securely, and the four latches are easy for me to open and close. There is also a removable perforated tray in the bottom that keeps the food raised off the very bottom of the container and allows some space underneath. I particularly like the clear sides because I can see exactly what is inside without opening it.Although I primarily use this for bread, it has been useful for much more. I have put rolls, muffins, cookies, chips and even fresh fruit inside depending on what I need to store at the time. It doesn't have to sit empty just because there isn't a loaf of bread in the house.It is roomy without taking over the counter, easy to use, and has become one of those kitchen containers that I reach for regularly.

I ordered this Fanlory bread box for a completely different reason than bread storage. I am using mine in the little freezer in our RV. At approximately 12" x 6.1" x 6.2", it gives me one large contained space where I can store individually frozen sandwiches, burgers, and other foods without all of their bulky cardboard boxes. The clear grey PET lets me see what is inside, and since the container is freezer safe, I can organize a much larger variety of food in a very small freezer. The four locking clips feel secure, the silicone seal fits well, and I especially like being able to pull the entire container out at once, choose what I want on the counter, then quickly put everything back. With a small RV freezer, I try not to leave the door open any longer than necessary and lose all that cold air.As an actual bread box, I think the size and tall shape are excellent. There is enough height for lofty bakery items such as big muffins, rolls, bagels, and bread without smashing everything under the lid. The adjustable air valve gives you the choice of ventilation or a more sealed container, and the removable perforated drain board also makes this versatile for storing fruits and vegetables. I really like the date dial on top for homemade bread because you can mark when it went into the container. It easily holds two smaller loaves of bread, so there’s plenty of room for homemade bread or other baked goods without having to squish everything in. It also feels sturdy and durable rather than flimsy.I like that it has a grate inside to allow for some airflow while still keeping the container sealed up. The lid fits tightly and makes it feel much more airtight than simply keeping bread in a bag or on the counter. The handle is also convenient if you want to move it around or take it along for camping or travel.One of my favorite little features is the wheel on top where you can set the date. It’s a simple idea, but really useful for keeping track of when you put the bread inside. Just keep in mind that it isn’t dishwasher safe, so you’ll need to wash it by hand. This Clear Bread Box with Lid is a good idea, but I think it falls short in a few areas. First, it does hold a good amount of bread, rolls, and other things, so there is plenty of room to keep everything together and, since it is clear, you can actually see what you have.I really like the little tray inside that holds the bread up off the bottom. I think that is a good idea and hopefully helps keep the bread from going bad as quickly by keeping it off the bottom of the container.It says that it is airtight, and I'm not exactly sure how that works. You would need a vacuum to actually take the air out, and I only see a way for air to get in. The lid is also hard plastic, so it is not like one of those soft plastic containers where you can push the lid down and squeeze some of the air out. So I'm not really convinced that it is actually airtight.I do like the date setting on top. That is a nice feature because you don't have to worry about keeping the original bread bag around just to know when you bought it or when you need to use it. I also like the snap-shut feature because it makes the lid feel secure.The big question for me, though, is whether it actually keeps the bread fresh longer. So while it is great for storing your bread and other baked goods in one place and being able to see everything, I'm just not sure it is going to make your bread last significantly longer.All in all, I like the design, the tray, the date setting, and the snap-shut lid. It is a good way to organize and store your bread, but if you are buying it specifically because you expect it to keep bread fresh much longer, I'm not sure you are going to see a huge difference.

Anyone who knows me associates me with homemade bread. I frequently bake sourdough, challah, rye bread, and some really wonderful onion rolls! Once I make a loaf, I usually keep it on the counter in a bread bag. That works fairly well, but this bread box is even better.Because the box is clear, I can immediately see what we have on hand. This is especially helpful when family members devour my bread without telling me! The box can also go into the freezer—or the refrigerator, although I personally do not recommend refrigerating bread.The locks feel solid and secure. I also like the slightly raised shelf on the bottom, which allows some air to circulate beneath the bread. Another convenient feature is the date indicator on the lid. You can record when the bread was placed inside and easily change the date whenever you add a fresh loaf.This is a thoughtfully designed storage box and a very useful addition to the kitchen of anyone who enjoys homemade or bakery-fresh bread.

I'd give this 5 stars, but I'm not sure how durable this will be in the long run. The bread box is a nice, low profile, well-sealed box. To open this thing, there is a rubber plug in the center of the "timer" wheel that you have to pull up to release the vacuum seal and then unlatch the handles - took me a minute to figure out that part. Toss in some bread, latch the handles again, and you're good to go. It works like they say, but it seems a bit flimsy so I really don't know how long this will be good. The date timer is a spiffy idea, so good on them for that.Overall, I think this is a good value that will be useful, but we'll see how I'm feeling about it 6 months from now.

I enjoy some toast in the morning with my eggs or a nice home made burger for dinner, but I don't enjoy making the bread. As much as I would love to, I cannot find the time to make bread from scratch so I usually end up buying a lot of bread for all the occasions. This is great for storing those breads. This bread box is very large, so I was able to fit a whole loaf and the five burger buns I had left, they fit comfortably. Now, store bought breads are a few days old the majority of the time so the dial for the day is quite smart. Though saying that I mixed two different breads which were made and bought on different days; I chose the day for the loaf. I don't know how much it will help as it's not like the bread will go bad exactly on the expiration date. It depends entirely on how and where the bread is stored but it is a nice feature to have as it reminds me when the bread was bought and how old one specific type of bread might be. The top has a handle for easy carry, which I really like. I like this, it is a helpful bread storage box.

I am actually really impressed with this bread box!! Wow! This bread box comes with a lid and is pretty big and also comes with dials on the lid so that your able to put a date on it so that you have knowledge of when your bread was put into this beautiful bread box. I am so happy with this product!! I’m really impressed with the big size of it like, holy crap! It’s an incredible size to be able to fit a good bit of bread!! The lid offers two handles that can be used for easily carrying and a perfect size to be able to fit most places. The plastic material this is made of is a thick nice strong plastic that’s well made for longevity. The lid has the 4 snap closures (1 on each side) for a strong airtight seal along with the rubber belt in the groove of the lip where the top goes onto the base and closes.(should be visible in picture of lid) I am very confident in this bread box and that it keeps our bread as safe and fresh as possible. This bread box can actually allow bread to stay fresher for longer because of the strong seal and protection it offers. Very very impressed!!

So I've had mixed results with many different types and brands of kitchen storage containers over ghe last few months. When I saw this air tight newly designed bread box I decided to order it and just try something new. First off this is a large very well made container. Someone took the time to choose sturdy materials and designed a quality product. I like the slotted tray in the bottom that allows bread to have air circulated around the bottom without allowing moisture which should keep the bread fresh longer. The top seals very tightly and the built in handles make this easy to carry if you needed to. This will easily hold a standard size loaf of bread plus other baked goods. I only have limited amounts at a time and so far I haven't had anything go stale or mold. For me though I remember a time when a bread box was meant to stay on the counter and it enhanced the kitchen decor. I guess that must be old fashioned now because this will be kept in my pantry it just looks like most other containers nothing special to look at really. It will keep and carry baked goods and that is its intended purpose. If you are okay with a bread box that works well but maybe stays in the pantry this may be for you!

I make homemade bread multiple times a week, but I was struggling to know how and where to store it. This bread container has been a great solution. It keeps my homemade bread from drying out. The bread stays nice and soft. The container latches shut easily with 4 latches to keep it secure and truly airtight. I like that the bottom has holes to let air flow underneath the bread, keeping it from getting too moist on the side that the bread is sitting on. The tracker on top that can be used to keep track of the date and time is cool so you can know how long your bread has been in there, but we eat our bread so fast that we don't really have to worry. Washing this container is easy enough by hand, particularly if you are not letting your bread get moldy. Overall, this has been a great way to store homemade bread.
