I guess I am an adult now, I’m so excited about this cheese grater! I was looking forward to it coming and told my mom and friend who both said it would only work for Parmesan, I was so happy they were wrong, shredded a block of mild cheddar with no issues at all! Love this thing! Also used to slice cucumbers the slices were so thin , my kids munched on a huge heaping pile of cucumber slices

So far, so good on this cheese grater. So much easier to use than the hand held one I had. It’s all plastic so over time we will see how it holds up. Has a knob on the side for locking down the grater with has awesome suction on my counter.

Received product in a fairly appropriate timeframe!! Product received in good shape!!After using the cheese grater once I can say it works great!! It was easy to assemble and use!! Grating Colby-Jack and Mild Cheddar cheeses was easily done within a few minutes!! During the grating process the cheese grater stayed adhered to the surface making the grating of cheese more efficient!!! I will definitely recommend this cheese grater to family and friends!!

This machine works great with a suction cup that holds tight and is very easy to clean. I mark it down one star because I do fear that it will break. The plastic makes a lot of creaking and cracking noise especially with harder cheese like parmesan. All in all a great design I just worry that the materials will ultimately let it down.

Don’t understand some people’s complaints on it’s suction, sticks as hard as could be, I have a glass top range and only use the stove as a workbench so it was very secure, did 2 large carrots in 20 seconds with no worries of scraping more knuckle skin off EVER AGAIN.

This is a great grater. It saves a lot of time. We do not buy pre shredded cheese, so I needed a sturdy grater. It’s stable and only clogs if you use cheese that is not cold. I would buy again.

This is a perfect grater. It stays attached to the cabinet and has different options to use. I would pick it as one of my top five things I use in my kitchen. I love it! I bought this on my own and I am a real person.

It sticks real good by suction to the countertop. Easy to put together and take apart. Easy to clean. Love that it comes with several different sizes of shredding inserts.

So much easier than hand grating!!!

The suction at the bottom could be better, keeps coming off the counter top, tried wiping down so there’s a clean smooth surface, tried wet, damp, and dry, trying to add extra pressure, just keeps coming off but it’s not much of an issue if you can keep it it place, but still shreds amazing and makes it easy!

Just had a chance to use this. I'm so glad I decided to get this model. Easy to use, easy to clean and stays put on my counter. The suction cup works very well on my tile granite counter. I even put it on my wood cutting board and it stayed in place. Keep the box and store it in it. You won't have to go look for any pieces that way.

I can't believe I waited so long to buy this! This rotary cheese grater makes meal prep so much faster and easier. Freshly shredded cheese tastes so much better than pre-shredded, and this grater gets the job done in just seconds.The hand crank is smooth and easy to turn, and I love that it comes with different blades for shredding and slicing. I've used it for cheese, cucumbers, carrots, and even nuts, and everything comes out evenly shredded with very little effort.It's sturdy, easy to assemble, and much safer than using a traditional box grater. Bought this not sure if I would like it, but really wanted it because store bought shredded cheese lately has been starting to smell and go bad very, very fast. I bought some blocks and this thing tears through them easily. I have gotten really good at know how much of a block to push in to get the cup or two we need. I like to mix some cheddar with some variation of jack cheese.Honestly, I can only comment on the cheese grater ability as I don't remember having used any of the other four blades yet, but the grater works great. Part of the reason for losing a star is the fact that it quickly pulls a thin sliver of cheese under the blade to the bottom of the core that never does get shredded. But it is a very small bit compared to what it does shred and it is like a little bonus for the shredder (me) when cleaning it out before washing it. Don't get carried away risking your fingers by not using the black plunger, just use it. The second reason for a small part of the lost start is the suction to the counter. 9 out of ten times I have no problems as long as I don't try to suction to surfaces that suctions are not going to stick to. But that other 1 time it takes two or three times before I can get it to stick. This is even sometimes on me as the suction is not fully clean, but sometimes it is and just does want to suction. Doe snot happen often so not much of a loss.Construction is great, simple but sturdy and seems like it will last a while. It disassembles quickly into three parts you need to wash, the black push plunger, the stainless steel shredding cage, and the plastic core. The black base and handle don't need more than a quick wipe down.It usually takes me about 5-8 minutes to get this out, shred one or two cups of cheese, disassemble, wash and put away, so this is a huge win for me. No more early spoiling of store bought shredded cheese. To sum up, loses a star for a small part of cheese ending up smooshed on bottom of plastic core and very rarely not wanting to suction to counter, would do 4.5 stars if I could because it is close to perfect. Everything else is all positives.

I read ingredient lists diligently now and found that shredded, packaged cheese has so many additives and unnecessary ingredients. So, I needed some help to make shredding/grating my own cheese manageable, maybe even a little fun. This does all of it, and my kids constantly want to help with shredding cheese. My granddaughter came to visit for a lengthy stay and insisted I get one of these. I have to say, she was right in all the right ways. It's very easy to use and makes quick work of a block of cheese, saving money since cheese is a staple in my home. I was already purchasing pre-grated/shredded cheese, which is more expensive. I've used this regularly for a little over a year and it's holding up just fine. It's made of hard plastic with 5 different blades to choose from, making it very versatile. It's easy to clean, dishwasher safe, and makes shredding cheese or other vegetables a breeze. It sticks to my counter without moving once it's clamped down. Now, I don't know how I was living without this. I'm saving money, and these days that's become very important. I plan to continue this trend, as this product is still going strong and we are a cheesy bunch here.

Got this for my wife. She loves it. Easy to clean, Easy to use. Suction mount is very powerful. If you are a power lifter you MIGHT be able to nudge it, but otherwise rock solid. Will never buy pre-shredded anything ever again. Haven't used all the blades yet, but definitely appreciate that it includes pretty much everything you would want for cutting, slicing, and shredding. Have not tried with nuts. Great for cheese and veggies - as long as the veggies fit obviously. Changing blades is easy. If your knife skills stink or you need a good grater with multiple options, we 100% recommend.

A little disappointed because it’s not as life changing as they are made out to be. I think I prefer it over a normal cheese grater, but it’s very give and take. It is safer and easier to use and of course faster, but i personally find it easier and quicker to clean a normal one. All of the parts are well designed tho in that the pieces with the mechanisms to connect and disconnect do not need to be washed and don’t touch the food so there aren’t any littler crevices that don’t dry. I have had trouble with food getting stuck in the feeder and needing readjustment and I sometimes need to manually pull out the food because it doesn’t fall out after it’s grated. More food than I would like gets stuck to the different pieces while grating, so if you don’t clean the chunks off you could end up wasting some. With a normal grater I found myself not reaching for it because it was a hassle to grate, but with this one I don’t reach for it cuz it’s a hassle to clean.It sticks to the counter really good as long as your counter isn’t messy with flour or something of the like.It will won’t fit a block of cheese larger than 8oz without cutting it smaller. That’s the size I buy so it doesn’t bug me, but for others it could be annoying.Overall, this unit is a good choice for a rotary cheese grater. I prefer it over a normal cheese grater, but it is overhyped imo.

Tired of trimming my nails using a box grater, I purchased this after watching so many people in videos using rotary graters. This is the first rotary grater I have ever used (except that hand held one sold by Pampered Chef) so maybe they are all like this one. Here are the things I do not like:1. Shredding cheese - if it is a harder cheese like parmesan, it's fine, but a softer cheese like a cheddar, tends to get clogged up inside the rotary blade if you don't keep reaching up and pulling it out. Shouldn't it just come out with either gravity or pushed out as more cheese is grated?2. Suction - There are several issues surrounding the suction which is how this product holds onto a countertop. You turn the little handle in the back to make or break the suction. I am handicapped, so I do as much prep as I can at the dining table - which is wood and this product doesn't adhere by suction to my table. I have a glass cutting board that I attach it to. HOWEVER, I am not strong enough to turn that suction knob at the angle the shredder needs to be to turn the handle to shred. It's a good thing that I have to use the glass cutting board because I can turn that at a 90 degree angle to turn the suction knob, and then turn the cutting board back to actually start shredding. If I am shredding something harder, like a carrot, or trying to use the ice crusher, I have to try to hold the shredder stable while simultaneously holding down that little thing in the top to push the food through with my left hand while turning the hand crank with my right hand, otherwise the suction messes up and I have to try to stick it down again.3. Slicer - I think I have only tried slicing potatoes. The blades are sharp so they do slice fairly easily, but part of the potatoes get stuck between the blade and the plastic housing so every few potatoes I have to take it all apart and put it back together to keep slicing. It's definitely faster and easier than using a knife, safer than using a box grater/slicer or mandolin, but if you are making au gratin potatoes, especially for a crowd, I'd dig out the food processor and use that instead. I find that while the thickness of the slices are pretty uniform, the slices are not "pretty" because once the potato is in there, the blade is just going to slice whichever side touches it so you aren't likely to get pretty little "rounds."4. It's kind of hard to take apart to clean. Mostly just trying to press the "ejection button" while trying to slide the top piece off. It's nice that it feels pretty sturdy, but as I make purchases to make my life easier as I age, I have to wonder why things have to be so difficult. The irony of it all.IS THERE ANYTHING I LIKE? lol yah, as mentioned, it is definitely a safter option (when used and cleaned with care) than using a mandolin or box grater, and more precise thickness of slices than using a knife. I do use this product frequently and haven't tried replacing it so I guess it's not THAT annoying. I would, however, be very curious to purchase a different one just to see how they compare. Maybe my rating on this one would actually increase?

I wish I would have bought one of these years ago! Makes shredding cheese so easy and quick (probably other foods as well, but I use it for cheese). Way better than a hand held grater. And clean up is super easy. Everything is dishwasher safe except the handle and base; but those don't get dirty anyway. The lock on the base works great, too. It has a very strong hold; the grater does not move while using it. I can't think of anything I would change on this to make it better. Well designed product!

I never ever write reviews. This is the best money ever spent. Can’t believe I’ve been manually shredding cheese for 5 years to avoid processed wood chips and whatever the hell else is in bagged cheese. So much time saved and I don’t have a sore arm. The suction worked for me. This is a MUST BUY!
