📌 Very practical for shelling corn!

This stainless steel corn peeler is very practical. You simply slide it along the cob and the kernels come off easily. I liked that the steel feels sturdy, the blade works well, and it's easy to clean after use. It's a simple but very useful tool if you frequently prepare corn recipes and want to save time in the kitchen. The only thing is that with some of the larger ears of corn you have to apply a little pressure.

If you have dentures, you'll absolutely love this tool

Corn Peeler Stainless Stee Corn Cob Stripper Tool Corn Thresher from the Cob, Removes Corn Kernels From Corn Cobs In Seconds, Kitchen GadgetTalk about amazing kitchen Gadgets! This is dream to work with. It inspires me to recommend it to everyone I see. Wow, I’m thinking. It was made just for me.I have dentures and I just can’t eat corn on the cob the way I once did. Even before I had dentures, though, I liked to cut my corn off the cob before eating. It was easier, not so messy and I liked it even more because that is what my granny did….. cut it off the cob, add a dab of butter and enjoy. This corn peeler was a impulse buy but thank God I’m impulsive about some things. This peeler is easy to use and works amazingly well. So well, in fact, that I told my husband how easy it will be to put up corn this year – the peeling off of the kernels will be so much easier than using a knife. This peeler is now a favorite utensil.Just place the edge of the peeler on the top of the corn and push down, and pull the peeler over the kernels Watch the magic! It’s amazing. Corn comes off in layers of delicate golden deliciousness. If you like corn on the cob, and especially if you have dentures, you will LOVE this tool. It is a little utensil made for using and when used correctly, as it was designed, it is a God send for those of us who don’t care for the messiness of eating corn on the cob the hard way!The Bad: it takes a couple of times using to get it… but only a couple. The Best: it’s like magic, but better. I’m thankful some designers think of stuff like this. It’s so good. Just so good!Enjoy corn on the cob again. This is so much easier than eating corn off the cob, especially for denture wearers!

If you make gazpacho a lot or nachos - this is a must have

I used it almost immediately after I received it. The blade isn't all that sharp, but it did the job, and the soup came out great.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Had several and none of them worked as good as this one..it cuts right down to the cob..and doesn't spray corn all over the counter

Better than a knife but flawed

The curved blade swivels and it need not. Its difficult to get under the kernels because once you insert it for the first few, the blade lifts up and only cuts the tops off the kernels. So it's either take a 2nd pass every time, and make creamed corn, or leave the hald-kernals behind. Varying pressure doesn't change the outcome. Also rinse it as soon as you're done because the corn hardens on it and there are tiny sections under the blade that are impossible to clean, even with a toothpick. It's a good idea but the design needs a little more work.
