Extra Large Stainless Steel Pizza Peel with Folding Handle – Pizza Paddle for Baking & Oven

This pizza peel is exactly what I didn’t know I needed. The large, thin stainless steel surface easily slides under the entire pizza and fully supports it as you pull it out; no more juggling a spatula and an oven mitt, hoping nothing collapses on the way to the counter. It’s sturdy yet lightweight, and the latch on the folding handle feels solid enough to lift a surprisingly heavy pizza without flexing.The folding handle is a huge benefit. It makes the whole thing compact enough to tuck away in a drawer or cabinet, and just as easy to pull back out when you need it. It even cleans up effortlessly (dishwasher-safe is a win). I wouldn’t use it in a professional kitchen, but for home use, especially for frozen pizzas or homemade pies, this is perfect. It’s made pizza nights way easier and way less stressful.

I have been searching for an affordable pizza peel, well-made and large enough to hold a decent sized pizza. This peel appears to be well-constructed, it is a heavy stainless steel peel with a nice folding handle. It is large enough to hold a large pizza, unlike the 12" peels that seem to predominate the market. My only minor criticism is that, like some other reviewers have pointed out, one of the edges is not quite smooth. I could buy some emery cloth to smooth the edge, but I am of the belief that a new product should not need to be worked on at home, so I ordered a replacement which I hope will have smoother edges. The size, construction, and price make this a very good buy. Update: The replacement peel is perfect, I have been using it often for my homemade pizzas and it is a joy to use. Get one.

It's sturdy enough to hold even the heaviest Pizza that would fit on it, the folding mechanism is easy to use and makes it so it fits (just barely) in my kitchen drawer, the only criticism that I have is that the finish on it is not very slippery I had trouble getting me first couple of pizzas that I made off of it, I solved that problem by scouring it thoroughly with a rough Scotch Brite pad it dulled the glossy finish to a brushed finished that combined with a dusting of flour and or cornstarch did the trick

We should have gotten one of these are long time ago.It's so much easier to get the pie in and out of the oven. Safer too!

A very good deal. Some of the froen pizzas require that they be placed directly on the over rack. Putting them in and out of a hot oven is not only likely to burn oneself but having the pie come apart in the process This peel is big and strong enough for the biggest pizza to be easily place in and out of the oven with no risk. If you like your izza cooked on the rack or on a stone, this is what you need. Highly recommend this product.

Sturdy pizza peel and a good size for home use. I had a stroke and using both arms/hands to get things out of the oven is kind of sketchy for me. I have no trouble using this to take pizzas and even small to medium baking dishes out of a hot oven.

I love this kitchen tool. So much easier to load and remove pizza from the oven than using 2 spatulas! I like that the handle folds for storage.

Very heavy very large. The handle design makes it possible that when you’re pulling on the handle to remove baked goods while they are hot the handle could disengage, especially with the weight of the paddle. The steel is beautiful, shiny smooth, but I do believe it is too heavy, to be really useful for me. This design could benefit from perforations to reduce the weight. As much as I prefer stainless steel I think I’m going to have to return this and get an aluminum pizza peel.

works great for lots of things more than pizza too

This works fantastic to put 10" sourdough pizza with parchment! onto and off the stone in the oven. Using parchment instead of cornmeal, etc. since extremely hot oven and don't want burned crumbs everywhere. Should take 1 star off as somewhat deep scratch top and bottom, looks like from stuffing into shipping box with other items. Appreciate the bending of the handle for decrease size for storage, yet totally secure when in use. Recipe for 4 10" sourdough pizzas at Alexandracooks is the best! I've found, easily handled this size and can make each persons with individual toppings or spread out on diff days (dough kept in frig} just FYI.

I love this pizza peel! If you like a crispier crust and want to bake directly on the oven rack, this makes it so easy to transfer to and from the oven. Pizza slides right off! I love how simple it is to use and the fact that it folds for storage. The handle lock withstands use and doesnt slio or slide. Very sturdy! Great for baking a variety of different size pizzas. I have noticed minimal scratches from use, but I feel like that's to be expected. It's perfect!
