This electric kettle is honestly one of my favorite kitchen purchases!It heats water super fast, looks modern and stylish, and the blue LED light gives it such a beautiful aesthetic, especially at night.The glass design feels clean and premium, and it’s very easy to use and clean. Perfect for tea, coffee, instant meals, or just quickly boiling water during busy mornings.I also love that it looks great on the countertop instead of looking bulky or cheap. Definitely worth the price — simple, elegant, and works perfectly every day. 💙

Love it so much !!!Watch my video .. but this so much better than boiling tea in a pot or a pan because we all know that we all forget that we’re boiling water in a pot and we’re in another room and all of a sudden we go out and it’s dry as a bone and we burned a pot or a pan. This is way way better I’ve been looking for tea kettles that whistle, and they are never loud enough between you and me I would burn the house down. I knew about electric kettles, but I still wasn’t too sure about him. I remember a very long time ago when I was babysitting for somebody who was from England so they fancy items every kind of product in their house. They had an electric tea kettle, and I thought it was the best thing to ice cream so I decided to investigate and I found this Amazon basic awesome kettle that works perfect !!!!I do not have to worry about my old man boyfriend burning the house down cause he already burned one of my brand new pots that he bought me for Christmas because he forgot about it cause he shut his door and he was watching the news station and completely forgot that he was boiling water or sometimes he comes from a long walk and put the pot of water on the stove and goes in the room and ends up falling asleep and forgot all about it and I forgot all about it and I am basically sitting right next to it watching TV and forgetting that I’m boiling water until I realize I’m boiling water cause it smells like I’m burning something.This awesome item automatically shuts off !!!!! watch my video. The black lever has to be pushed down when you plug it in and you push the black lever down and it starts to boil. It pops up when the water is done boiling and it’s an automatic shut off so if you are in your room, and have your door shut .. or u have loud kids and you’re doing something you completely forgot that you have the electric tea kettle on it automatically shuts off so it’s not gonna burn the house down and it has a special sensor so it doesn’t burn dry it’s a mechanism that’s built in and this is exactly what I need for me for my boyfriend and for anybody else that comes here you’re ninety yr old grandmother you’re mother who has Alzheimer’s burn still wants to do something this is the kettle to get other than that. It’s a little bit hot, but that’s normal. Keep it on the counter. Make sure nobody’s around it when it shuts off unplug it if you want to make it quicker get cool but it does get cool really quick once it automatically shuts off… It’s really a no-brainerbut I’m gonna tell you something. This is the best thing next to ice cream if you always leave your pot running in a pan when you’re in another room or taking a shower or an argument with somebody and you forgot that you’re boiling water happens to all of us. Watch my video definitely worth the $20 and something cents that I spent on itJust remember when you want to reheat your water up again or put more water in you have to push the level down to make the blue light on so it starts to work that’s basically your turn on button and you can also flip it up if you don’t want to do the full boil, you can do a half boil pull it up push it up and it will stop automatically. You don’t have to wait for the full boil if you don’t want to.REMEMBER, YOU HAVE TO PUSH THAT LEVER DOWN TO START YOUR TEA TO GET BOILING. YOU’LL SEE THE BLUE LIGHT PLUG IT IN PUSH THE BUTTON DOWN. WAIT FOR THE BUTTON TO POP UP WHEN IT’S ALL DONE BOILING OR YOU CAN HALFWAY WHILE YOU’RE BOILING IT YOU CAN FLIP THE BUTTON UP SO THAT YOU CAN GET YOUR TEA WHENEVER YOU FEEL LIKE IT.

Nice and fast, I really like this this kettle, it doesn’t take long for the water to come to a boil, it’s easy to clean, the only issue I had is that I contacted customer support about changing the filter inside the lid and they never responded back, but overall it is a good kettle

This is precisely what I wanted. An electric kettle that's small enough to not be a counter-hog and isn't made of plastic. I've been using it daily with no issues. Quick to heat, quiet, easy. Everything it's meant to be. The handle stays nice and cool- just be careful not to touch the glass or metal once heated, obviously.

This kettle does the job for the price and works well as a good starter/basic option.One downside: limescale builds up pretty quickly. I already have visible marks on the bottom after just two weeks of use. Nothing that affects performance so far, but something to be on top of with regular cleaning.Overall, a decent budget-friendly option if you’re just starting out and don’t need anything high-end

Stopped using drip coffee maker to drink tea, and after buying this for my office, I liked it so much that 2 days later I bought a second one for my home! Fast heating, and auto-shut off is a great safety feature! Also use it to make 'cup of noodles' soup. Planning to send another to our grandson as he goes off to college, for his dorm.Truly one of the best small appliance purchases I've ever made!

This electric kettle is exactly what I was looking for! We have a stainless steel version at the office and my pet peeve was trying to determine how hot the water was based on the sounds it was making. There is no guessing here - you will see it boiling (in just a few minutes!) and easy to stop the heating process once you get the temperature you prefer. Get it - it’s a no-brainer.

Works like charm. The automatic shut off is a very important feature. The water heats up very fast and the pot gives the kitchen a nice glow with very little noise.

Couldn't be simpler. This is our first electric tea pot and we are thrilled with this thing. Fill it, flick the switch, it boils in minutes, and turns itself off. It glows a happy blue when it's on, and enough water for a box of mac n cheese boils in maybe 5 minutes. Carafe seems solid, and looks sleek and modern. Volume markings are legible without my reading glasses. Top opening is large, and the push button spring is nice and tight. Very easy to clean, even though you can't completely submerge it because the heating element is in the base. The little plastic base could be a bit more substantial, but it does the job well enough. For those who know, this is like the Mr. Coffee of tea pots.

I am very happy with this product! It is easy and fast to use. It beats the time that my old stove tea kettle used to take boiling water. I love the blue light. I bought it because it will automatically turn off so I don't have to worry about staying close to it until it is finished boiling the water. I am hoping to have it for many years to come. The video with the woman demonstrating the kettle standing in her kitchen was very helpful in my deciding to buy this product.

Best Electric Kettle !This is the third electric kettle that I have purchased on Amazon. The first two were name brands. Both leaked and one of those leaks could have caused serious burns. We are tea drinkers and an electric kettle is a must have. Amazon Basic Electric kettle was an inexpensive purchase and we just assumed it would end up the same as the others.What we have is a solid, well made, nice looking kettle at a cheaper price. It also really boils the water and it does it quickly. Well done Amazon, a great product!

Great for boiling water. It will boil your water nothing more nothing less. It looks nice and modern fitting in on your counter top. It does not add a weird taste to water. It is light and easy to carry around. This will only boil water to 212 F/100 C. For certain green teas this isn't ideal however you can watch it and experiment when to stop it early. I ordered a Hamilton Beech Electric Kettle back in December 2020 because my son and his lady were coming to visit and she REFUSES to use the microwave to heat her water (she's Australian) -- she actually won't heat her food in the microwave either. It was inexpensive and well worth making her smile! I kept using it after they left and got in the habit of it, using it to replace my microwave for my tea water. The old kettle, after daily use, finally died right after Christmas. I saw this Amazon Basic model and decided (for the price) to try it out. Couldn't be more pleased! It has the blue light in the bottom so you know it's "on" and heating the water, and shuts off when the water comes to a boil so you can't boil the pot the dry if you walk away and "forget" you turned it on. It keeps me from having to use the microwave to "nuke" my water, which is healthier for me. Great product at a great price. Hoping it lasts as long as my old Hamilton Beech....

During college, I sometimes couldn't go to the cafeteria and get food because it would either rain or snow like crazy. In either case, I would have ramen instant noodles that I could just heat up and eat.Well, this served well for that purpose. It heats the water very quickly so I wouldn't have to wait for too long. The lip was built well to pour the water into a bowl without spilling anything at all. That's very important, especially considering that you're dealing with boiling hot water.Once I was done eating, I would simply wait for the kettle to cool down, and then I would wipe down any condensation and tuck it away. It was very easy to store, and it worked well the next time I would use it.It lasted me quite some time. I eventually had to replace it because it got crushed under my other items when I was moving to a new dorm. Other than that, the build quality is great as long as you take care of it. It helped me from starving countless times while in school. I would highly recommend!

Amazon’s electric kettle. My wife and drink a lot of hot beverages. We’ve tried many electric kettles. All died prematurely (maybe from over-use). We’re three years into this kettle and it’s still boiling strong. By mistake, I bought the 1.8qt size with a foot print of over 6”. Dang, I thought, it takes up more space than the 1.1qt size. We’ve owned many 1.1qt kettles before. All heated with the standard 1500 watt element. This kettle also has that size element but seems to heat up more quickly. Its base is 30% larger than the 1.1qt kettle. I believe its additional area helps heat transfer to the water more efficiently. I’ve experienced no faults noted from other reviews. Much of the noise heard when heating is from impurities accumulated on the base. Clean it periodically with distilled vinegar and water to produce quieter heating.Another plus. Although the spout is non-metallic, it doesn’t drool down the outside of the kettle at any volume. Someone said, ‘a watched pot never boils’. I beg to differ. This one is fast as it mesmerizes me with its blue LED Lava Lampesque lights. Great value. Three years good.

Overall this is simple and works well.it heats water fast and quality is about as good as other kettles around this price point.if you use it daily, plan on replacing it in about a year. Mine seemed to fail this time right at the same month I bought it last year.

The product is small enough to fit on my limited countertop space, heats up very quickly, glass is thick and durable, the lid works as intended, and automatically shuts off. I use this everyday to make tea or coffee, and can't say enough how I much I appreciate how small it is but still holds a good amount of water and still fits on my countertop. I also like the price point, it's very affordable.I have also cleaned it with vinegar, and it doesn't retain any vinegar smells or taste, the hard water stains come right off after one boil cycle.The only thing I would say is, the heating pad does feel a bit fragile, it has no weight to it and doesn't "lock" in the kettle. With other brands, the heating had has weight to it and clicks the kettle into it when you place it down. This product does not do that. The heating pad is very lightweight and doesn't have a locking functionality. So this means that when you're putting the kettle down, just double check to make sure you're matching it up correctly so you don't spill anything. It also won't click into place, so just make sure you're confirming it actually is on the heating pad.Other than that, for the price point, this is a great product. I love that it's also not too complicated, no frills, just a boiler.If you're thinking of something more advanced, this product probably isn't the right fit for you.

I find that this electric kettle is easy to use. The automatic shut off is a must. It is definitely a value for the money. The blue light is so relaxing and calming to look at.
